Boston Fencing Club Competes at Junior Olympics in Kansas City

Junior Olympics — January 9–12, 2026
Boston Fencing Club athletes competed at the 2026 Junior Olympics held at the Kansas City Convention Center in Missouri, representing the club across junior and cadet events in both individual and team competitions.
In Junior Women’s Saber, Nisha Hild led the BFC results with a strong 34th-place finish out of a field of 255 competitors. Additional results included Elaine Lu (57th), Zolie Malek (95th), Melissa Chiang (96th), Arya Chavan (147th), and Sophia Jeffords (192nd).
In team competition, the Junior Women’s Saber squad of Nisha Hild and Elaine Lu delivered a standout performance, finishing 3rd out of 23 teams.
On the men’s side, Jason Bae earned a strong 45th-place finish in Junior Men’s Saber, while Adam Khanna finished 109th. Khanna also competed in Cadet Men’s Saber, finishing 135th.
In Cadet Women’s Saber, Arya Chavan (112th), Melissa Chiang (91st), and Zolie Malek (108th) represented Boston Fencing Club in a competitive national field.
Boston Fencing Club is proud of all athletes who competed at Junior Olympics and gained valuable national-level experience.
