
This clinic is designed to prepare athletes to compete at the 2023 Summer Nationals. The clinicis intended to help athletes develop the elements that make their game successful. Athletes will participate in a variety of activities including footwork, organized bouting, team events, group drills and more. The pre-nationals clinic will be taught by coaches Yasser Mahmoud, Matthew Zich, Brendan Doris Pierce, and Davis Merritt.
Pre-Nationals Clinic

Weekdays: 10AM - 4PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12:30pm - 4:30pm


We will teach foil fencing in all levels in a fun environment. Coach Davis will play lots of games to warm up and teach the fencing footwork to the beginner fencers. Experienced fencers will be grouped together and work on fine tuning their skills. They will have plenty of time to fence, under the watchful supervision of the coaches, who will set challenges and drills to introduce them to the skills and tactics of the sport. At the end of each bout they must shake hands with their opponents, encouraging sportsperson-like behavior alongside developing co-ordination and fitness.

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM .......... Afternoon Session
Drop Off from 9:00AM & Late Pick Up available until 5:00PM. Late pickup available upon arrangement for $25 per day. Please email info@bostonfencingclub.org for early drop off or late pickup requests.

Youth comp + Competitive Epee Summer Clinic

Youth Comp + Comp SABRE
For kids of all levels seeking to fence sabre

This clinic will work on advancing young athletes from all levels to give them a competitive edge. Morning sessions will focus on warmup games, footwork and bouting designed for the beginner, youth competitive, and competitive athlete. The afternoon session will incorporate youth competitive students with the competitive athletes to challenge the younger fencers and give them the opportunity to work with more experienced fencers. Drills, tactics and conditioning are incorporated in the structure of the clinic.
